Unique Italy Tour

Day 1
Arrive in Bologna with private transfer from airport to hotel. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the city centre to the top of the Asinelli tower. Special dinner with tastings of typical Emilian cuisine.

Day 2
After breakfast, depart for a walking tour with an expert guide in the historical market area with explanation of the food & wine excellences of the city.
Enjoy lunch in the old covered market in the city center. Spend the afternoon in a countryside farmhouse for a special cooking class. Learn how to make pasta with a rolling pin and enjoy your creations for dinner.

Day 3
After breakfast, take part in a private tour of the Parmigiano Reggiano dairy. Follow your tour up with a tasting of Parmigiano of different ages. Visit the winery of Lambrusco. Discover the ancient tools used for picking grapes & end your tour with wine tasting. Walk the city center and then depart for a private tour of the production of balsamic vinegar and finals tastings.

Day 4
After breakfast, head out to one of the most famous factory for the ice cream machines, the Carpigiani Factory, where you will tour and learn to make gelato and sorbetto. Enjoy traditional, innovative cuisine for lunch at Antica Moka. Spend the afternoon in Maranello where you will visit the Ferrari Museum.

Day 5
After breakfast, check out and depart for Cesary winery for a tour and tasting. Embark on a journey to Dozza, a medieval village with narrow cobblestone streets and massive fortresses. Enjoy seasonal cuisine for lunch. Head on to Comacchio Lagoons, the largest wetland area in Italy, and see where flamingoes and other birds nest. Take a walking tour of the city and visit the Pickling Factory. Next go on to another medieval town, Sant’ Arcangelo di Romagna. Enjoy the beauty and elegant architecture of its buildings, houses and streets. Arrive at B&B le Contrade for dinner at Restaurant “Lazaroun”

Day 6
Enjoy breakfast followed by a walking tour of the city. Explore Piazza dei Ganganelli, the Triumphal Arch, the Bell Tower, Cervese Gate, the parish church of St. Michael and more. After, set out to Cesenatico, a little town on the coast. Indulge in handmade, cooked on the spot Piadina for lunch. Let your lunch settle with a walking tour along the Canal of Cesenatico and then head off to Cervia, another small coastal down to visit the Sea Salt museum. Return to Sant’ Arcangelo to relax and experience a salami tasting for dinner.

Day 7
Head out to San Leo, the city of art, after breakfast. Afterwards, continue to Gradara Castle in Marche Region. Legend has it that this medieval fortress was the scene of the famou & tragic love story of Paolo and Francesca. Right around the corner, lunch will be at Mastin Vecchio. Set out to an olive oil producer where you will learn about the regions famous olives, production and tastings. End your day with a visit to Cattolica, a town on the Romagna coast. Then head to check in at the hotel to relax and prepare for dinner.

Day 8
After breakfast, depart for Macerata Feltria, to walk around one of the “most beautiful villages in Italy” and then head to Urbina, the heart of Italian Renaissance. After a guided walking tour of the city, with local tastings lunch, stop in Fiorenzuola di Focara on the way back to Cattolica.

Day 9
After breakfast, you will have a private transfer to the Bologna Airport.
